2015 Caldora “Yume” Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Red Wine

Made with 100% Montepulciano grapes in the Abruzzo region of Ortona, this wine is ruby red with garnet highlights. It is made from prestigious grapes, and the wine represents hope, the “dream” (Yume in Japanese means “dream”), for a better future. The wine is intense and persistent, and has a spicy aroma with hints of chocolate and tar but never to dominate over its copious fruit.

Best served with: rich main courses, salami and roasted or stewed meat.
